Horse racing has carried on fooling punters. Some say, this is because of the proverbial ‘horse sense’. However, it is funny to assume that an animal with vastly lesser intellect than humans keeps getting the better of mankind. Fault is definitely with the human perception on how this game should be tackled.
If one maintains a strategy and keeps on following it with relative consistency; the horse is bound to abide. Yes, there is always the issue of a human being motor a horse, but he is under expert surveillance and cannot play spoilsport with regularity.
One prime error common in most punters is when they fall in love with a particular horse. Just because the animal might have ensured a handsome payment once, they don’t deter in following it every time it runs. Absurd!
It pays to salute the rising sun in racing. Performers of the season should be followed more than seasoned ones.
